BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

We start right at 12:00.

No time spent on setup at the door. At noon, everyone has their laptop open, connected to the Wi-Fi, with the Claude desktop app open and logged in, ready to work.

  1. 1Set up a paid Claude account. Pro or higher, so you have enough usage to do real work. Download the Claude desktop app and log in.
  2. 2Make sure your laptop can join a guest Wi-Fi network.
  3. 3Be logged in to your tools. Email, calendar, drive and whatever else you use to run your business.
  4. 4Using a work laptop or work accounts? Check with your company first. Make sure firewalls, VPNs or security settings won’t block Claude, and confirm your company’s policy on AI tools and what you’re allowed to connect Claude to. Get it cleared before the day.

Who it’s for

Anyone from never opened Claude to using it every day. New to it? We start from the beginning and help you at your seat. Already using it daily? You’ll still pick up a lot, especially around Cowork, Claude Design and connectors.

The focus is getting Claude set up properly in your business: Cowork, Claude Design and all your connectors. At the end I’ll show a few advanced things it can do. A more advanced Claude Learning Day 2 may come next.

What you’ll learn

  • Setting up Claude properly from the start
  • Context files that make Claude actually know you and your business
  • Organizing folders on your computer so Claude can work with them
  • Projects: one per company or topic, with the right folder attached
  • Cowork: handing Claude real multi-step work
  • Connectors: email, calendar, drive and your other apps
  • Creating your first skill
  • Claude Teams: sharing skills with your team
  • Claude Design: building your design system and brand
